Arqtic is currently in production on a landmark animated short film that explores the intricate ecological and social landscape of the Southern Mountain Caribou. This project represents a groundbreaking synthesis of voices, uniting environmental scientists, Indigenous Nations, and the Canadian Wildlife Service (CWS) to address conservation and recovery cahllenges. Visualizing the complex pressures facing this indicator species from habitat fragmentation and broader impacts of climate change on this at risk species ecosystems.

Our firm's focus was cantering the story around the Indigenous relationships with Caribou and showcasing scientific advances. Thorugh compelling visuals and narrative, we aim to build mass awareness and foster a deeper understanding of the caribou’s role in our shared environment. We recognize that caribou conservation is not just a biological hurdle, but a complex issue of sovereignty and collective stewardship. This film serves as a vital tool for engagement, illustrating how collaborative investments in the land can lead to sustainable outcomes for both the wildlife and the communities that depend on them.
